If you're a parent or guardian of a teenager aged 12 to 17, your child may be eligible for assistance under the Federal Government's Medicare Teen Dental Plan - a bulk billing voucher scheme which assists eligible families with the cost of preventive dentistry.
To help you with your teenager's dental care, Surfers Paradise Dental Centre (SPDC) bulk bills for a range of preventive dental services under the Medicare voucher scheme, leaving you with no out-of-pocket expenses for this component of your child's consultation.
The preventive services covered under the teen dental plan include x-rays, cleaning, fluoride treatment, diet and oral hygiene instructions, as well as pit and fissure sealants.
Simply make a booking, bring the dental care voucher along with your Medicare card to the appointment, and we will bulk bill for the preventive check.
You'll need to apply for the voucher prior to the dental appointment. The Medicare voucher will be sent to you in the mail as the parent/guardian of the eligible teenager.
