Dr Edward (Buzz) Cowie BDSc (Qld)
Principal Dentist
Buzz is SPDC's longest serving dentist, having joined the dental centre 36 years ago. He cared for many SPDC clients when they were children, and is now caring for their young ones too!
With a degree from the prestigious University of Queensland and a history of practising in both the country and city, dentistry has always been his passion. But his proudest achievement in life has been his family, his children and now his grandchildren.
Dr Phil Foster BDSc (Qld)
Principal Dentist
Phil and Buzz have been friends for many years, having studied at the University of Queensland together. Following his graduation, Phil practised dentistry in current country Victoria, Brisbane and then the United Kingdom, before joining the SPDC team around 1978.
Since then, Phil has raised a family of his own and has been instrumental in cementing SPDC as a leading provider of dental services on the Gold Coast. His extensive experience in all areas of dentistry speaks for itself!
Dr Les Jabbour BDSc (Hons) (Qld)
Principal Dentist
Skilled in all areas of Family and Contemporary dentistry, Les is also a quality provider of Dental Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Crown and Bridgework. A prize-winning graduate of the University of Queensland, he received his Bachelor of Dental Science Degree with Honours in 1995.
Les practised dentistry in hospital, school, government and private clinics before joining SPDC in 2001. With young children of his own, he is all too familiar with modern family dental needs.
Dr Jonathan Chang BOH (DSc) GDipDent (Qld)
Dentist
Jonathan joined SPDC in 2009 and since then has become a highly regarded member of the team. He's well versed in all areas of general dentistry but has a special interest in trauma and aesthetic dentistry.
Fluent in both Cantonese and Indonesian, Jonathan has spent the majority of his professional life on the Gold Coast, where he also completed his dental degree.
Dr Joy Lee BDSc (Qld)
Dentist
Fluent in Mandarin, Joy also graduated from the prestigious University of Queensland. She has a wealth of experience in all facets of modern dentistry and is a respected member of the dental fraternity, having tutored students at Griffith University's Dental School.
A wife and mother, Joy is focused on children's and family dentistry. She likes to really get to know her patients so that she can tailor her treatments to suit their individual circumstances.
